Adele's star shone bright last night at the Grammy Awards when she scooped up six awards.
The British diva made her comeback on the Grammy stage and walked away with Grammys for album, record and song of the year.
There was speculation that she wouldn't be at her best after throat surgery a few months back but she proved the doubters wrong and scored a standing ovation for her performance of 'Rolling In The Deep', which she credits with "changing my life".
The song won her the best song Grammy, to add to her other awards for best record, best album for her breakthrough 21, best short video, best pop album and best pop artist.
She won all six categories she was nominated in and shouted ''Mom, gold is good!'' when she received the album of the year trophy.
The Grammy show was tinged with sadness after the passing just the night before of legendary pop diva Whitney Houston, and some commentators are saying that not enough effort was made to honour one of the most memorable voices of all time.
